AnswerReady is a free AEO checker. It shows businesses, in plain English, whether AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Claude can find, read and cite their website, and what to fix first.

Why did we build it?

Customers increasingly ask AI assistants for recommendations instead of scrolling search results. Many small-business websites are invisible to those assistants for fixable reasons: a firewall that blocks AI crawlers, text that only appears after JavaScript runs, or no clear answer to the questions customers actually ask. We wanted a quick, honest way to see those problems.

How does the audit work?

The audit reads your homepage, robots.txt, sitemap, llms.txt and up to five key pages, the way an AI crawler would. It then runs 25 rule-based checks across six areas worth 100 points. The same site always gets the same score, and every finding shows the evidence behind it. See the full checklist.

What doesn't the audit claim?

It can't promise that an AI assistant will recommend you. Recommendations also depend on reviews, mentions on other websites and your competitors, and AI answers vary between runs. The audit measures what you control on your own website, and we say so in every report.
